New Home Sales See a Surprising Lift

April is New Homes Month

The pace of new home sales in July was up 5.6% from a year earlier. And year-to-date sales of new homes are up 2.6% in 2024 compared to those in 2023. However, NAHB leaders acknowledge several challenges remain as the industry contends with an affordability crisis.
