NAHB has partnered with McAllister & Quinn, a firm that researches and tracks workforce development funding opportunities, to help state and local home builders’ associations (HBAs) with a 501(c)(3) in place to secure financial support for workforce development programs.

In conjunction with NAHB’s Spring Leadership Meetings in Washington, D.C., McAllister & Quinn will offer lunch and an in-person grants workshop. Attendees are eligible to sign up for individual 30-minute consulting slots the day of the workshop from 9-11 a.m. ET and 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. ET.
McAllister & Quinn is a 10-minute walk or 4-min drive from the National Housing Center and close to the McPherson Square (Orange, Blue, and Silver Lines) or Farragut North (Red Line) metro stations.

Additional Workforce Programs Funding Sources
Various organizations are willing to support workforce development efforts. For example, The National Housing Endowment’s Career Connections grant program supports activities that introduce young people to career opportunities in residential skilled trades. In addition, the Home Builders Institute has a list of suggested resources for workforce development funding to get started.
