Modular Home Building Council Overview
The Modular Home Building Council is leading the way in increasing awareness of the inherent quality of modular home building. Not to be confused with ‘mobile homes,’ modular homes are built in one or more sections in a factory, then transported and installed on a permanent foundation at the home site. These homes are built to the same standards and codes of site-built homes in a fraction of the time, and offer a greener and more cost-effective alternative to site-built homes.
Modular home manufacturers can support and advocate for their industry while enjoying a host of benefits when they join the Building Systems Councils (BSC).
Business Development. Each year, the BSC distributes hundreds of consumer leads to its home manufacturing members through the council’s e-brochures on nahb.org. Also, industry-specific events such as the Building Systems Housing Summit offer incredible opportunities to meet face to face with fellow corporate leaders.
Competitive Advantage. Never worry about finding an experienced and vetted systems builder again. Tap into the Building Systems Councils nationwide builder roster. Each BSC builder member is reviewed by the council’s board of trustees before joining.
Nationwide Marketing Exposure. Reach markets coast to coast with the NAHB.org Council Directories, consumer education initiatives like National Building Systems Week, and peer-to-peer recognition through the BSC Jerry Rouleau Awards for Excellence in Marketing and Home Design.
