Home Building Industry Disaster Relief Fund
The Home Building Industry Disaster Relief Fund (HBIDRF) was established to assist areas affected by disaster in order to facilitate the rebuilding of communities. The HBIDRF is a recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
The HBIDRF makes funds available for direct contribution to other recognized charities aiming to meet similar needs as the HBIDRF, primarily for shelter needs.
The HBIDRF does not make assistance available directly to individuals.
If your charity wants to apply for funding, you are encouraged to contact your local home builders association to determine if any partnering opportunities are available at this time. Charities must partner with an NAHB-affiliated home builders association to apply for grants.
Individuals, businesses, members and friends of the industry are encouraged to make contributions to the HBIDRF to help defray the cost of recovery. To lend your support, you can donate online now by using your credit card.
